Today
I want to share with you my next recipe for glowing skin this
summer! It's full of vitamins and minerals and so refreshing in this
heat. Hope you like it!
Cucumber Salad with an Asian Twist
Serves
2-3
6 cups sliced*
organic cucumbers (I like to keep the skin on for organic for more
beautifying and skin/hair-enhancing silica)
1 cup sliced
purple cabbage (lots of vitamin C for a summer glow!)
1 medium carrot,
sliced
2 Tbs. raw apple
cider vinegar
1 Tbs. tamari
1 Tbs. coconut
nectar (or maple syrup if you cannot find)
1/2 tsp. sesame
oil
4 Tbs. Sesame
seeds
3 Tbs. dill,
chopped
1/4 tsp. high
quality sea salt (I prefer Pink Himalayan Salt)
* I prefer the
cucumbers thinly sliced to soak up more of the dressing, but the
width per slice is up to you.
Throw the
cucumbers, carrot and cabbage in a mixing bowl and set to the side.
Whisk together the other ingredients, the toss into the veggies.
Cover and store in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
